here is a link to a great video posted on that shows the past, present, and future of Harris Ranch, which is an ongoing community development on the east side of Boise. at full build-out, the community will have over 2,000 homes, news schools, commercial areas, parks, and public areas.

(I tried to embed the video, but it's not working for some reason... I've noticed other people are having the same issue)

this area is about 10 minutes from downtown Boise.

to give an idea of how new this project is, the "past" portion of the video shows the valley in the early 2000s; so far, about 1,000 homes have been constructed, along with a new school, fire station, park, and a small commercial area.

in the "Future" section of the video, there are some empty areas east and west of the development; these areas are currently being built-up as separate developments.

still image from the video:

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.”―Mark Twain
“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.”―Saint Augustine
“Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.”―Anonymous
