I hung out in Sheeps Meadow today and got to admire this thing from Central Park (finally). In person it does seem incredibly tall, and I love how the Essex House sign is reflecting in the glazing. Nice touch.
1715 Broadway is also quite visible from this angle. Its hard to even fathom how massive 225 W 57th will look from this vantage point if it lives up to its rumored heights.
