Before you get too worked up about this, remember this is only seasonal air service two times per week. This is meant to serve tourists to Lake Tahoe for the winter ski season. An airline can initiate any service they want but let's wait and see if this route is profitable and sustainable.

Thomas Cook Airlines is similar to Allegiant, here in the US. It's dependent on selling package tours.
