Map of proposed expansion by CAQ from the last provincial election:

The extensions in Laval appear to make sense especially the one N-S on Hwy 15. Not much transit goes E-W along Hwy 440, but this could capture new transit riders and make Hwy 440 the backbone of Laval transit.

The south shore REM extensions make me think of the HART (in Honolulu) stations and elevated guideway through farmer's fields (they have good reasons to extend automated un-piloted transit here ); https://www.roadsbridges.com/no-4-ho...ransit-project . The capital expense could fund a bus every 10 minutes, 7 days a week for 15 hours per day for how long? Election vote buying.

The tramways should be done as well. Speed up the Bleu Ligne to Anjou timeline.
Transit grid FTW. Montreal would have fantastic transportation choices/options in 2030 if all but the south shore REM was operating.
