Excavation Underway For Edgewater’s 649-Foot Elysee Tower

Last week, excavation began for the tower’s foundation, according to the project’s Instagram page.
Foundation work has been underway for over six months. Piling work began in October 2017, and an official groundbreaking was held in December 2017.
The uniquely telescoping, Arquitectonica-designed tower is being built to the maximum height permitted in the area – 649 feet above sea level, and 644 feet above ground. It will rise with the assistance of a crane that reaches 726 feet above ground.
It is being built as an ultra-luxury condo building with just 100 units in a 57-story tower.
