I am a bit confused on the situations of these new buildings within the plaza, and the extent to which the existing shops will be demolished. There is no doubt that the new retail space will be occupied by national chains...

IMO it would be pretty shit for the neighborhood to loose these small businesses and the access to affordable entrepreneurial opportunities for the sake of an LA Fitness and Raising Canes...
