The lot is going to be between Pointe du Chene and Parlee beach roads, I heard the number 80 acres. It will be behind the Esso, DQ, Ultramar, and the old Fisherman's.
I'm not sure if I'm a big fan of this development, it is a huge piece of land being consumed for seasonal use. I think Shediac needs to think bigger and look at attracting people year round. There is so much potential for growth in Shediac but it needs to be managed. Campgrounds inside town limits is not a good revenue generator year round. The other problem is that once they are there they become difficult to remove if the owners are making money. In my opinion this development is not great for Shediac and doesn't fit with what they have been doing the past couple of years.
