I'd never heard of Salvatore Santaella until I happened upon this matchbook.
He was a "Mexican Composer & Pianist" .... . other than that, I haven't found any information about his time in Hollywood.

The most recent building at the 38 N. La Cienega address was Benihana's. It was torn down about 4 years ago and is still vacant.
The Stinking Rose is now at 55 N. La Cienega with a large parking area encompassing 53 N. La CIenega, I'm guessing.
