I'd love to see Portage lined with 20+ storey buildings creating a true canyon. The Alt and GlassHouse will help. Portage place needs to get its act together and build it's two pad sites. It would be nice,
IF DONE PROPERLY to have taller buildings on the north and south sides of Kennedy and Portage as well. Same with one mid-block opposite the Avenue Building where Dominion News is and one in place of the freshly renovated Dollarama.
We could have our own version of the Magnificent Mile without of course the height, quality of retail, and vibe........but otherwise it would be the same.
