In recent years the streets in the San Rafaels above the Rose Bowl become swamped with cars despite the manned PPD barriers at the entry points.....quite a mess (my Dad's house is up there, and, yes, we would watch from the hills).....but I prefer that to the barrage of shells currently assaulting the greater Los Angeles area! Hundreds can be heard every minute.
