I noticed that too.
That type of architectural lighting has long been common in other parts of the world, you often see it in Asia, for instance. I know some might think it's corny or contrived, but I have to admit, I kind of like the bright colourful lights, especially in the winter when it's dark for so much of the time. I wouldn't mind seeing some more of it, especially now that LED lighting has gotten so much better in recent years. (I wouldn't mind seeing IG Field get that treatment too...)
Speaking of, whatever happened to that elaborate plan to light up buildings along Portage?
