Hi everyone! I have been lurking & enjoying all the great pics for a few weeks now.

I have a couple of photos that I hope you can help me with. My grandfather owned a couple of flower shops, probably in the late 40's to early 50's. I don't know the streets they were on, but I have a few clues.

Address looks like 8684. CR phone exchange. (Also from 1938 directory: Lord - Schade Flrstr 8684 W. Pico Blvd. LA Crstvw 1-4344) (Thx to GaylordWilshire for his quick find also)

This one may be a little easier. Address looks like 10680. (WooHoo! I found an online LA phone directory from 1938 that lists the Nose Gay Flower Shop at 10660 W. Pico Blvd. Ardner g-4131)

This may be of interest only to me, but what the heck. This is the house my grandmother, father & uncles lived in circa 30's to 40's. 2933 S. Orange Dr. 90016

So of course I had to look it up on Google maps & it's flanked by apartments, but it still stands!

And to make sure it's Noirish, my uncle Paul Lord. Cameraman & Editor late 40's to 1956.

Thanks in advance!
