Cool photos and renderings!
I worked in Bussigny for a bit when I was in Lausanne. You're right, there isn't much there, typical fringe industrial area. In typical european fashion transit connectivity is somewhat decent, so I'm hopeful it can be improved. More services around the few office buildings would be nice (lunch spots etc).
