Beautiful shots of Houston (sorry about the circumstances under which you got them). As I am learning more about the layout of the city, it appears the 1st shot is looking toward downtown from the west while the 2nd is looking from southwest of downtown toward the west/northwest. Is that correct?
The 2nd shot is on par with some cities' entire skyline, but it really is only what must be just the west side of the metro outside of downtown.
