JAL is re-establishing their NRT-DFW route beginning 30 November 2015. This route was cancelled back in late 2001. JAL will be using their B788 on the route and flying 4 times a week (M, W, F, Su).

There's probably a better chance of a Austin-Tokyo route than to Seoul since the city has listed it as a "priority route", if we all remember.

As for your question, it probably wouldn't happen unless Austin leaders actually went up to a JAL official and said "hey while you're at it, we'd like to have you over here just South of DFW".
