^ Thanks for the updates! It seems like there is no dense development (and little development at all) underway in Longueuil these days. Yet Laval is building a ton of mid-rises.

I'm glad they are starting to see the logic of Chemin Chambly being better than Roland Therrien for a metro line. It's a classic grid pattern around Chambly, and the increasing property values to come with a Metro expansion, would allow for denser buildings to be built.

I'm also glad they are putting the brakes on sprawl. That area in eastern Longueuil along with Saint-Hubert near Parc de la Cité have seen too much sprawly development. IMO, they should focus on making the area near the Metro/Bridge more dense (especially that area between the bridge and Saint-Lambert)

Taschereau Boulevard in Longueuil is a nightmare at the moment, even for drivers (crisscross merging on/off is the worst). It is really poorly designed. It should be a big improvement if they level it, put traffic lights and make it consistent with the section in Greenfield Park and Brossard.

Have you ever thought of applying to work for Longeuil's planning department?
