A few block north of the 3rd Street location is another attention grabbing building. Location = 7605 Beverly Boulevard, virtually across the street from where the Pan Pacific Auditorium was located. The attention grabber is actually the large rooftop advertising superstructure above the building. I am particularly curious about what was being advertised and the history of the sign and the building over which it towers. The obvious size of the advertising would have likely made it unmissable by most Pan Pacific visitors. For this reason I would expect it appears in a few Pan Pacific images. The building currently houses a restaurant named Terroni. It was previously the Authentic Cafe. In '42 it was an upholstery shop.
