I think the curve he is referring to is where they took out the two-way and did an expanded sidewalk - an anti-traffic measure to begin with.
Not the left turn on to Auraria Pwky (which is very much needed, by the way). There *is* still a highway ramp downtown; clogging up 15th to get fewer people on to it would be cutting off our nose to spite our face.
