Right. For one thing, there isn't anything to fight
against, no one knows what is going to be proposed here, I'm not even sure the developer does at this point. And there isn't anything to fight
for, as there is nothing there now. Unless they want to fight for the parking lot, which would be a real shame. Who fights to keep a parking lot in Manhattan? No, it's just the same sad tale of NIMBYism just for the sake of it. The knee-jerk reaction is to mobilize against everything, even before they know what it is.
