considering all the activity south of the lake/river lately, I've been wondering about two particular projects that I think were mentioned here in passing but I haven't heard much about as of late:
801 and
1155 Barton Springs Road.
According to this particular blog, both saw a revival of activity at some point in 2013, and as I've gotten a feel for this city, I see Lamar, Barton Springs and Riverside as three corridors that could do fabulously with some consistent density along their respective runs through near south Austin. It's happening already, but now more than ever I'm pulling for it to continue
Especially surrounding Butler Park, which is situated particularly well to become jewel-boxed in by substantial mid-rise development.
