There's finally no one left in the buildings to be demolished, to make way to the supertall mixed-use twins.

For the record, this is what's going to finally be torn down. It's been more or less abandoned since the developer showed up and said he wanted his twins built there.

It took 10 long years to make everybody move out of there.

For those who like this kind of historic brutalism, don't be sad. The brutalist complex was made of 5 of these buildings and only 3 will be razed.
The 2 to survive will be refurbished by the developer. Dwellers made a deal with him.
I bet when there's only 2 left, people will appreciate and like them much better.
