My concern is they get torn down and then sit as empty lots for 5-10 years, while the developers wait for tenants and better market conditions. And/or get replaced by lame 500-600 foot tall fat glass boxes.

Of course if they get torn down and immediately replaced by 1000 feet + tall signature towers, I'm all for it
