I'm trying to restrict myself to one of these 1952 Julius Shulman/Bank of America photosets per day . This one's titled "Job 1352: Bank of America (Los Angeles, Calif.)1952". This time the bank was on Florence Avenue at Holmes Avenue, and had a rather impressive roof sign. I also like the Hudson outside.

This is the view from Beach Street.

The Florencita Theatre, on the corner of Walnut Drive, is no longer there. As far as I can tell from Historic Aerials, it was demolished between 1980 and 1994. According to cinematreasures.org, it had 575 seats.

All from Getty Research Institute

The bank building, minus its sign, is still standing, although it has looked better.

The First Full Gospel Assembly of Florence building and its neighbor are also still there

The Florencita Theatre may have gone, but I found this attractively decorated pet store next to where it used to be.
