I am not arguing against it, I am just saying that for someone who regularly complains about socialism, to support what is the definition of socialism, is hypocritical. I have found it to be extremely common that anti-socialists are at the forefront of urging the government to restrict private enterprise in this way.
They're also the most likely to support the state's total control over the electricity industry to give us hydro rates that are far below cost, which is the reason we have that debt charge that they all love to hate.
