Our Lady Peace, Finger 11, Sloan, and other special guests including the winner of the Next Great Atlantic Rock Band as the opening act.

TICKET INFORMATION

On sale at all Ticketpro locations, including the Personnel Support Programs Information Kiosks on site at CFB Halifax, music fans can pick up early bird tickets for $65 individually or $240 for a family and friends package (4 tickets).

All early bird tickets will be entered into a draw for a vehicle and the first 100 people to register their tickets online will receive an exclusive invite to the VIP party.

After the early bird promotion ends on May 31, 2009 tickets can be purchased for $75 each.
VIP seating, which includes a great view, tables, chairs and catered service, is also available.

The first stop on their maiden Canadian tour, international superstars Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Chad Smith and Joe Satriani—Chickenfoot—will be putting their stamp on this unique event by choosing to introduce their incredible sound to Atlantic Canada while music fans gather in a show of support for our military members and their families.

“This concert is about connecting people,” says Frank Cleysen, Canadian Forces Halifax Personnel Support Programs Manager and General Manager for the event. “We’re connecting family, friends, neighbours and musicians in an evening of unbelievable entertainment. And by including the deployed troops in this community event we hope to send a clear message of support to our service men and women while they are away from home.”

With the impending new release from Our Lady Peace, current popularity of Finger 11 and beloved Halifax home grown band Sloan, tickets are expected to sell out quickly.

“We are so excited to be able to bring this concert on behalf of CFB Halifax to the Natal Day festivities,” says Cleysen. “It’s our way of thanking the people of Halifax for their continued support and at the same time boost the morale of our CF members. We have put together a great line up, bringing an incredible amount of talent to Atlantic Canada. The fact that it is happening on Citadel Hill, the place where this military city began, just adds to the excitement.”
