Nice to see Toledo here. Toledo doesn't get near as attention as it should I think. Downtown has so much potential. It reminds me of downtown Detroit around 2008 or so before things really took off.
Thanks for the pics! |
Toledo seems to be a bit shinier than the last time I was there in 2007. I've always loved the PNC Building. There is some great architecture hidden around town too.
Gehry's first metal clad building (lead coated copper), the Toledo Visual Arts Center with it's super green glass is quite lovely in fact. And next store is the bold and imposingly classical Toledo Art Museum. |
what do you call it ... uhh uh a treasure thread, especially for Toledo.
by the way, i am going to see the Nutcracker this Wednesday evening at our art center, look forward to the fun. |
Very nice photos! And it's nice to see Toledo, OH, a city that doesn't seem to get much representation here on these forums, and a city I am totally unfamiliar with.
Thanks for sharing! |
Love 21, 47, and 56, and the flag in 58 is perfect.
What's the building in 22 and 23? |
Thanks all!

but wow, was it closed for the holidays? ;) https://filmfreedonia.files.wordpres...omegaman01.jpg |
Great photos. What also see is no snow. Everyone thinks these places are snow born hells.
The on average, the coldest week is the third week of January. But just tonight we were under a tornado watch. And I heard we broke records in high temps. I did not confirm that myself but in some areas, we hit over the 70's. I set my furnace thermostat to kick on at 70 degrees and by late afternoon my home temp was 74 degrees inside. I am just loving it using less natural gas, ! |
Summit Street's renovation in Toledo has improved that area tremendously. Thanks for the shots.

well personally opinion it is cool for kids not enough for elegant adults |
Nice mood with the fog. Chicago has both great riverfront and great lakefront, very unique city.
Toledo looks like it has seen better days, but I see some encouraging signs, like the new separated on-road bike path in 105. |
