Ok now what?

This will be a very slow progressing city, as it is still a giant grey slab.

I need help.

Have you checked the tutorials on sketchup? They'll get you started, and you should end up picking a few things up on your own as you go along.

Derek Jul 12, 2007 5:08 AM

I've got no talent in SketchUp.

I sat there staring at my computer screen like a deer in headlights at first. Then I checked the tutorials and I picked it up really quickly.

On SketchUp in the help menu, click on "self-paced tutorials" to get a start. when that's done, go to the help menu and check out the "video tutorials" to go in depth on how to get going in sketchup.

Austin55 Jul 12, 2007 5:20 AM

Great! It's nice to see that you're trying SketchUp out for yourself, it's really simple once you learn the basics. I can't wait to see some shots! :D

Derek Jul 12, 2007 1:44 PM

Wait, what version of SketchUp do you guys have? I don't even know if I'm using the right one. :P

foxmtbr Jul 12, 2007 9:54 PM

I use 5, but I think everyone else uses 6.

Derek Jul 12, 2007 11:03 PM

Uh, I have the beta version.

Austin55 Jul 14, 2007 9:05 PM
