Have you checked the tutorials on sketchup? They'll get you started, and you should end up picking a few things up on your own as you go along. :tup:

I've got no talent in SketchUp.

No, I didn't know how to put it in the first place. I'm going to do the tutorials on the SketchUp website tomorrow. So expect the first update tomorrow or Friday. :tup:

I sat there staring at my computer screen like a deer in headlights at first. Then I checked the tutorials and I picked it up really quickly.


On SketchUp in the help menu, click on "self-paced tutorials" to get a start. when that's done, go to the help menu and check out the "video tutorials" to go in depth on how to get going in sketchup. :tup:

Great! It's nice to see that you're trying SketchUp out for yourself, it's really simple once you learn the basics. I can't wait to see some shots! :D

I use 5, but I think everyone else uses 6.
