Orange Theory!

So is that an actual gym, or more one of those spin places that is like a cult?

More like a cult with really loud music. I'm sure Nico's will be really excited to have all the bass and loud thumping music next door all day long. I know numerous home owners that back the current Orange Theory location and they can't stand it.

Also sucks for right next to a bookstore.

I wonder how much tiling they have completed so far on the second floor in the Cornwall Centre since I took pics. They definitely were moving quick.

I am walking through there several times a week. Yesterday it looks like they had only done maybe three times as much tile as in your pictures from a while back.

Thanks. I was wondering what was going there after the complete gut.

The Tim Horton's on Broad and 11th is closed, but just for renos. They appear to be ripping off the stucco façade. I assume they want to make it look more like other Tim's.

I’m Glad! It’s such an ugly building. I wish the other main floor half of that building had retail or a restaurant to add some life to it. And I also wish they landscaped more of that property. And removed the ugly mural and did something else on the parkade (or more trees to cover it).

I think we had this discussion when it was built. The old A&N basement and current parking garage goes all the way to the 11th Ave sidewalk so there is no way to landscape (other than opening the sidewalk for street trees).

Timmy's was the original business in that current building, correct? Are there any other tenants currently in that building?

That mural is gawd awful IMO. It's an embarrassment, but then, looking at what else is on that stretch of Broad Street, I guess it isn't that bad

The Regina store has one... The items were neat, but the "pop-up" shop is pretty sad. Very little effort in Regina, but that's part for the course... The Bay has needed a refurbishment for a very long time.

An interesting read regarding Broad Street and its current state...

It is slowly being covered up by the vertical junipers that were planted along the sidewalk. 2017 StreetView:

Well, I was going to say that I hope the junipers don't die, but it's too late. The one in the middle seems to be on its way!
