^ Beautiful scene.

Here is a scene from Vancouver's West End.
This was the tallest apartment building in Western Canada when it was built (around 1965).

Intriguing shots, Bulliver. I don't think I'd want to run afoul of whoever can handle that wheelbarrow-load of bricks!

Thanks Robert....barrow is the property of the boys at Remo's Masonry, who are currently working on restoring/rebuilding the 1903 Alberta Hotel here in Edmonton.

Robert Pence May 18, 2011 3:34 AM

Neat. I hope I can make it to Edmonton sometime. About fifteen years ago I spent the better part of two weeks in Alberta, staying at Airdrie (near Calgary) and roaming as far as Banff, the glaciers, and Drumheller. The main purpose of my trip was to attend the old-time farm show (Pioneer Acres?) at Irricana, and I spent about half of my visit there. Alberta has amazingly varied, beautiful terrain and the people are hospitable and mostly hard-working.
