AGREED! Traffic will not be improved because the only major entry into that area will be off Vic Ave E/#1 Hwy. No direct access from west (Regina Memorial Gardens) or east (Regina Bypass on-ramp). The access from the south will only be in place once Tower Road is realigned, and really, the only way to access Tower Road will be off Arcola Ave unless you get to it through The Greens/The Towns.

I agree. Sears has been clearing a bunch of small home appliances and other items for the past couple of weeks - a clerk told me they're revamping their product mix. Perhaps this is just a normal tweak, but I haven't seen such extensive clearances before (perfectly good small appliances which were already 50% off were marked down 50-70% off. My dad got a $240 Kitchen Aid crockpot for $40... unopened, not a return/damaged). So, might be an indication of downsizing... or it might be nothing.

Sears has also sold their Sears Home building, though for the time being they have leased it back.

Walked though Sears today and a good part of their second level now carries the same type of knickknacks that you'd see in Home Sense or Bouclairs - home furnishing/decor type of stuff.

All the retail in the Conexus Plaza is hoarded in - see pic. It appears that Harvard is doing a major refresh of the façade and incorporating this into the Shoppes on Hamilton across the street. From what I can see, it appears that Colin O'Brian and/or Jessica Bridal are expanding rather than a new retailer going in.

I also heard a rumour that Harvard has secured 3 new tenants for the CRU's across the street. All are women oriented retailers.

Not surprising, as that's pretty much the only retailers Rosanne will look at.

This is amazing and so good for Hamilton's retail revitalization!

Are there any renders of this anywhere?

I am aware. My point was that they didn't choose to move to another spot in the mall, or even Southland Mall.

Sara Lindsay The Makeup Store is relocating to Shoppes on Hamilton. They'll be sharing a space with Smith & Best which, I believe, will be a second location for them. (No idea what the others might be.

Nothing much to report. Work is happening behind temporary walls in the SE corner on the 2nd floor. I expect Tim's to be moving downstairs by the 11th Ave. entrance very soon.

I wonder if the 11th Avenue entrance is changing at all or the ugly brick heading into the mall.

I believe the 11th Ave. entrance is getting a facelift of some sort.

Current pedway to RBC building closes June 1st, with new pedway opening in the fall.

Not sure if it was mentioned here, but I was talking to one of the staff at Home Outfitters on Saturday. They have started clearing out and officially will start to wind down in mid-June. Apparently they just can't keep up with the competition and the online world so they are calling it quits.
