^^^ Yes, that was a bit redundant.

:previous: Mild conditions.
Remember, NYC almost always gets less than the burbs. (North and west and sometimes east too.) We got 18 inch's. |

ITS SO AMAZING HOW THIS IS ALL BEING DONE WITHOUT DISRUPTING THE PATH AND SUBWAY .....ESPECIALLY IN THIS COLD WEATHER....

A very exciting time to witness during the memorial build process, one of the best. I love how this is shaping, spring will look good.
|
They expect cladding of the Pavilion to begin and be completed by Sept 11th of this year, so it will be the 3rd building at the WTC site to take shape visibly.

Ny Guy I Was Noticing That There Is A Small Roof Cover Over The Memorial Building Which You Don't See In The Rendering....looks Like Maybe An Acess To The Roof.....

Milestones Keep WTC Transportation Hub on Track Progress continues through the winter February 3, 2011 Quote:

When are they going to begin work on the primary Calatrava-designed transit hub, the one visible from street level? I'm worried about it because I know the price tag has scared politicians, and after seeing New Jersey pull the plug on the Hudson river NJTransit tunnel, I won't feel comfortable about this hub until it's finally complete.

Nice to see the window framing going up on the museum.

Is it because the hub entrance area requires the lower levels of towers 2 and 3 to be completed in order to support it on the northern and southern sides? Is it too crowded down there to work on all three simultaneously? Or is this a money issue as Don098 suggested? |
