mixed-use high-rise residential project planned for midtown Greensboro

an area northwest of downtown Greensboro, which is now being dubbed "midtown", is seeing a lot of development and now developer Marty Kotis is planning for a $50 million high-rise residential project which includes a multiplex theater, retail, restaurants and a loft style residential tower with 8 and 10 story sections. The multiplex theater currently exists. Kotis recently purchased the theater and renamed it Red Cinemas. The project around the theater will be built in phases. The street side retail and restaurants will be the first phase and the apartment tower will be phase two. However Kotis says the size of this could grow and include a hotel which would be even taller than the apartment building shown in renderings.

More renderings. Kotis says it will have more of a feel of a Four Seasons resort rather than just an apartment complex with a nice weight lifting room
