Between the last two CDR meeting proposals -- there is something like 1500 new units planned for that stretch of Delaware Ave. now. ....Light rail???

I like the Columbus/Delaware Ave designs. These are visually attractive low rises. Page 23 of 31 in the .PDF file shows 16 different exterior materials being used on the project. I think that might be a record for the mixing and matching the exterior of a building. |
What percentage of the rather large number of residential buildings proposed since COVID do we actually think will be built. Don’t get me wrong, Philly had momentum before this but we were no Austin or Nashville. I have faith that workers and vibrancy will return to city centers, but it is still a big unknown.

Does anyone know why it's going for another round after all this time? Something to do with change of ownership? Lapsing of permits? http://www.ocfrealty.com/naked-phill...are-waterfront |

Separately, the rendering provided in the article and posted in the Piazza Terminal thread shows an unnamed tower adjacent to the Terminal occupying the site where Post currently houses their offices in a 1-story warehouse. So I guess that's yet another redevelopment play. |
