Yeah I hope not. Hopefully the tenants for all the CRU’s for main floor request signage and windows.

I was absolutely and still hoping and expecting something like the first two floors of the Urban Capitol development in Saskatoon for the Sask Drive side for the Sears portion.

Ya, my first thought is that the streetscape is garbage.

Keep in mind that office redevelopment plan is 100% theoretical. They won't do any work on that whatsoever until a tenant is found. So if retail users showed up first they would happily take them.

That is what I am hoping.

Any sense which Regina Superstore will get the RCLS? East location still has space on the property, doesn’t it? Or could it be at a different location than the existing Superstores?

Any space by the new location for a Costco Liquor?

Is it possible they are opening inside the East Superstore. I thought we had regulations against that here, but I noticed they just renovated a new space just to the right when you go in the door. Looks like it could fit the bill...

There was that Bison liquor that was supposed to open up at Golden Mile? Maybe they got ahold of that licence?

I'm thinking Buffalo still goes in Golden Mile (it has been worked on over the past few weeks) and RCLS goes in or near the east Superstore. I think the east end is still severely under-served. I hope the new Costco gets a license too.

Urban Cellars South is the new name of the Golden Mile Liquor store, says the permit hanging on the door.

Doesn't Bison Liquor still have a sign up next to Leopold's on Quance? Also don't forget about the new Metro Liquor already open in the Greens.

Not sure, I avoid the east end like the plague :P.

Superstore is completely tenanted and I don't think there's any room for more building.

I wouldn't be surprised if Costco didn't obtain the sole rights to liquor in Aurora and will do it whenever they can.

Urban Cellars is opening soon in the old east Jysk location.

There is construction going on inside Superstore east which is presumably for a liquor store.

Are Bison Liquor and Urban Cellars affiliated? I believe Bison Properties owns the former Jysk building.

If I understand correctly, Bison Liquor is the holding company, Urban Cellars is the brand ("doing business as"). They've location(s) in Stoon, and (if everything goes as planned, there'll be 2 Urban Cellars in Regina: Quance (next to Leo's) & Golden Mile.

I believe so. It's a bunch of different partners including the owners of Creekside possibly.

It is indeed in the space inside the East location. They will be putting an outside door on it as it must be accessed from the outside. As well, Costco is confirmed to be getting a liquor store once they open on Oct 31

Drofmab Sep 29, 2018 12:46 AM

Noticed an Atco trailer at Southland (Gordon/Rae entrance, straight across from Chop).

I also noticed the outside walls of the space between Nico & Starbucks has been painted in the past week.

I don't see anything on the mall's website about either of these - anyone heard anything?

BrutallyDishonest2 Sep 29, 2018 2:26 AM

Space by Nico is... a gym.
