I love Pittsburgh. It is such an underrated city. There are some really solid bones there. I have seen a similar picture, but I think it was a Gigapan.

Love the Charlotte and Philadelphia pictures! Charlotte seems to be underrepresented when discussing skylines.

Here is a pic I took of Vancouver a few years ago from a seldom seen angle:

Wow. That has to be the most impressive view of Jersey City I think I've ever seen. It usually piggyback's on New York's skyline, so it's nice to see "mostly" only Jersey City there. I realize you can still see part of New York to the left.

defintely one of the best shots of the stl skyline ive seen, showing the lowrise chunkiness.

that atl photo showing the topography in the background is great too.

Unlike most Chicago skyline pictures which just show downtown, this one actually shows the long line (skyline) of buildings along the lake.

Damn that Montreal shot is bangin! Best shot and angle I can remember seeing of it, I actually didn't know what city that was at first. Very impressive and they are undergoing a condo boom right now so it should get even better.

Loving the lowrise chunkiness of STL :haha: I might have to try that out as a pickup line "hey sugar, I dig your lowrise chunkiness" :drooling:

I'll go with this fairly quintessential shot of Calgary - population 1.2 million. No Calgary Tower, but a bit of the Calatrava bridge popping out. I had a hard time deciding between this an another recent one from the south with a crazy lightning strike. Nudge, nudge to my fellow Calgary forumers. ;)

Philly has a great skyline. It was extremely impressive seeing it for the first time driving in from the North - particularly now with Comcast, which is a very attractive building and has a commanding presence.

Where did you drive in? Along I-95 or I-76?

Great Honolulu pic. This doesn't even include downtown, which is to the right of the photographer and a few miles away. Honolulu's overall skyline is really massive.

I agree. I really hope we start seeing some high-rise residential, office, and/or mixed-use towers built on downtown's west (Target Field area) and east (Metrodome / new Vikings stadium) ends.

Any idea as to the Magellan tower slated for the Loring Park area of downtown?

That Minneapolis shot is extremely impressive looks very similar in size, height, lowrise chunkiness to LA actually.

Toronto, good lord we are really starting to see how that boom is playing out.

This is fantastic, and to think that it only shows half the skyline - everything North of College St. to Bloor/Yorkville is missing.

I tried to find one that properly incorporated the mountains with downtown. They practically surround the city.

Chattanooga has such a beautiful setting. Would love to visit sometime.
