On March 10 in New York City we gave away close to 1,000 free tickets in a stunt that required people to follow clues on our @jetblue Twitter account
and find us at various locations around the city for their chance at a ticket. Visit our Flickr account to see a ton of great photos from this hugely successful
promotion that took us from the Financial District to Union Square before ending in Midtown at Rockefeller Center

I wish I had the patience of these photographers. I envy their work, they capture what i think is the essence of the streets.

These photos are incredible. I'm sure it wasn't amusing to her, but this poor woman and her run in with pigeon shit gave me a good old LOL today.

^ LOL, she seemed a little too calm...

Man, thats last picture is simply amazing, all of those beautiful facades. Almost any city in America would kill to have just one street like that, and you guys have hundreds.

Some evangelical nut job thinks he found mathematical codes in the bible that determined the end of days to be on 5-21-2011... His believers liter the streets of our cities.

That's what I love about these photographers and the photos they take. They have a real feel for the streets. Manhattan has several public squares/plazas where you can do people watching, but really any street will do. I think that's mostly due to the fact that New Yorkers - particularly in Manhattan and large parts of the other boroughs - must spend at leat part of their day on the street, whether going to work, shopping, the park, or just generally being outdoors. Summer, winter, spring, or fall, it's always the same. I think the streets are what really give New York it's energy. I know it does for me.

I could not have said it better myself.
Love the shots on Crosby Street!

One of my favorite threads on this forum, I get distracted trying to post photos here because there are so many to see.

As usual, Ed Yourdon has some great shots:
