The problem with that South Korean building is Biff. I don't know who Biff is, but I don't like him. If it is who I think it is, he should contact Marty and the Doc and go back to the eighties where he belongs.

The Miami skyline already is huge. It will become more huge than it already is.

I had to double check that, but yeah, that's true. Pretty crazy. The closest one was One Biscayne Tower - 492 feet with 39 floors built in 1973. There were 3 others built in the 1980s that were taller than 500 feet, including a 600 footer and a 700 footer.

And only one after that was built in the 20th century, the Santa Maria in 1997. It was the first condo in South Florida over 500 feet tall. Everything else was built in the last decade. There was so much planned that I thought if not even half of this makes it to construction, Miami would have the third largest skyline in the country by 2010. The next thing I knew, statisticians were saying Miami already had the third largest skyline in the country, even though Houston has three buildings that are taller. It's based on how many high-rises overall actually made it to construction, and as I tell people, if you want to dispute that, we have more buildings on the way and taller buildings on the way. We're far from done down here.

It doesn't capture the beauty of how spread out Los Angeles is. It's leaving out a ton of Wilshire Buildings and Century City, Hollywood, etc.. =P

If LA had all it's tall buildings massed together, we would look a little under half of Chicago's skyline, but yet we still retain a larger population

A note: "la" means "the". So you spend more time in "the the defense"?
