As the person who actually took the original Houston photo in that comparison shot, I just have to point out that that's not a puny freeway, that's just a part of the I-45 / I-10 interchange just north of Downtown. :)

BTW, as a native and longtime Houstonian, I also have to say, LA is more interesting and exciting and I'd live there if I could afford it.

Nice shot of the Uptown area and, since you brought it up, I've been to both Houston and L.A. and I never saw any freeway in Houston I would ever describe as puny. Huge, colossal, and massive came to mind, but certainly not puny! :shrug:

I've never been to Hooters, but I did have breakfast in a rather drunken state of being at 3am at the IHOP next to it. :tup:

It was very much a joke.......although I think LA freeways are the biggest in the country, not that that is anything to be too terribly proud of...
