Yes, more perimeter columns have been put up today. I'm sure Carlos will have some great pics later of the progress.

Hello folks! I thought I should introduce myself here in the forum to all you skyscraper fanatics! My name is Jesse and I live in Miami! But you New Yorkers laugh at our small 400 ft skyscrapers, hehe! :haha:

I'm new here as a member, but I've been following for almost a month now! :D

I'm very psyched about this project! :)

Really? I think Miami has a great skyline, with plently of buildings higher than 400 ft.

And Welcome :)

The side crane jumped up today.

NewYorkSkyline117 Feb 8, 2012 8:45 PM

So is it still 1,181 feet with this steel? Or has it officially passed Bank of America Tower

sw5710 Feb 8, 2012 8:49 PM

Still 1,181' 8'' to the 92nd floor + splices.

It's just so hard to believe:) And I've been curious about two things: As soon as the roof tops out, will they immediately begin construction on the communications ring/mast? And will this mast be thicker than the average spire?
