the highway Trấn Quốc Pagoda on the left is the remaining wall from the french-built 'hanoi hilton,' and on the right is the office tower that was built on top of it the hanoi-saigon main line school's out... police office and lottery vendor the guy who hangs up rousing patriotic banners Khâm Thiên street memorial. The street was obliterated by b-52s during the 1972 christmas bombings the pet store making funeral wreaths Hồ Trúc Bạch... the lake where john mccain's plane landed a street barber burning fake money for buddha condensation on my lens tribal statue at the museum of ethnography... thanks for checking out my photos! |

WOW!! amazing pictures, captures the grit, realism and daily life of a city. I'd look at these pictures anytime over those fancy high rises and construction pics of, say...Dubai or Las Vegas. Just my opinion, but these pictures capture the heart and soul of a city.
