Some steps from the Great Wall. This section is popular with Beijingers for its unrestored sections, and lack of mass tourism as at other sites. Every year there are accidents and fatalities even with properly equipped climbers:

having just looked at 10 pages of stairs on a friday night, i now realize i am in fact, a nerd.

It's okayy cause stairs are a significant feature in architecture!
