The footprint for this tower is smaller than I expected.
Shouldn't this be moved to the Construction forum already?

Just want to note that the image in post #62 is self updating (so night is night, morning is morning ect.)

Yeah it is kinda small. Even the tower protruding from the base will be slightly less bulky and more narrow. Yeah I mean whenever the mods want to move this, but its up to them. This tower is clearly u/c.

While much has been made about Miami’s current condo boom slowing down, developer CMC Group is on track to build its biggest and most ambitious project to date – a 64-story glass skyscraper now under construction in downtown’s Brickell Financial District called Brickell Flatiron – just as the rest of the market takes a pause.

Since the project’s groundbreaking in March 2016, construction crews from Moss Construction have finished setting the pilings and are now starting excavation and subterranean work in advance of the concrete foundation pour, which is scheduled for January 2017. Brickell Flatiron’s completion is expected in 2019.

First Cranes Installed At Brickell Flatiron, Park Swap In Works

Brickell Flatiron’s first tower cranes were installed last week.

The developer is still working on a plan to swap a triangle piece of land at the south end of their property in exchange for a city owned pocket park at the north corner. Zoning changes required for the plan are to be voted on by Miami’s Planning and Zoning Board at a meeting next week.

Previously, the developer stated that construction would continue regardless of the outcome of the land swap.

^ I wonder what they are going to do with that ugly blank wall @ 1010 Brickell.
This tower will become part of the Brickell skyscraper canyon with numerous 500+ footers already in every direction from it.
Anyways congrats to Miami's 5th. tower over 700+ ft.| 200+ m Under construction !
