Located at the base of Saginaw Bay on Lake Huron, and at the mouth of the Saginaw River, Bay City is the second largest of the tri-cities in the Saginaw-Bay City-Midland Metropolitan Area.
Built on the lumber industry, it was now has a very diverse economy, and a strong maritime history.
