Description
• This was the first nuclear reactor created in Germany, and served as a research nuclear reactor. It is the symbol of nuclear research in Germany.

• This reactor is part of the campus of Technischen Universität München (Technical University of Munich).

• The reactor was decommissioned on July 28, 2000, and is no longer in use, but the oval cupola/dome is registered as a landmark and will remain.
