Description - When completed in 1953, the transmitter was the most powerful in the world.
- The transmitter was shuttered between 1973 and 1979.
- This transmitter was replaced by one in Aholming, constructed from 1986 to 1988, and the one in Erchind was dismantled the next year in 1989.
